SPP Winter Schools and Events<\/h2>

The SPP Winter Schools are annual events, usually happening in winter time. These week-long get-togethers aim at sharing experiences and knowledge between project members of the individual projects within the SPP, along with exciting keynotes relating to the overall aim of SPP2199 of creating scalable interaction paradigms. Lectures on methods and practical advice for navigating the world of academia round off these events.<\/p>

While the first Winter School had to be held online<\/a> due to the ongoing global pandemic, all other editions were held in-person while allowing for remote participation in locations such as Borkum<\/a>, Varel<\/a>,\u00a0M\u00fcrren,<\/a> Bad Hersfeld<\/a>, and Burg Ebernburg<\/a>.<\/p>

In addition, the SPP held two Dagstuhl Rundgespr\u00e4che at Schloss Dagstuhl.<\/p>

The SPP establisted a PhD Qualification Program, a series of two-day workshops in which PhD students have the opportunity to learn about successful academic work and publishing as well as methods within HCI and skills such as grant proposal writing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
